Grind Away NOVA’s best-value Grind and Go service covers approximately a 48-inch root-ball grind area, or smaller stumps with a comparable combined area, at a standard depth of 6 inches. Chips are piled neatly where the stump was ground. Larger projects, extra grinding, access, preparation, and other requirements can affect pricing; your project-specific quote confirms the total.
Can you handle exposed roots or a taller stump?
I handle exposed surface roots within the agreed scope, plus chainsaw preparation when a taller stump needs it. Your project-specific quote confirms the work and total.
What happens to the wood chips?
With Grind and Go, chips are piled neatly at the stump location. Premium options are relocating chips elsewhere on the property, bagging, or complete removal from the property. All three premium options leave a smooth surface suitable for subsequent grass replanting within the agreed scope. They are quoted separately and can add substantially to the total. Grass installation, topsoil replacement, and complete landscape restoration are not automatically included.
Can you quote from photos?
Stump photos help me understand what needs grinding. Send a few photos of the stump or stumps by email if you have them. Photos aren’t required to start an inquiry; I’ll discuss the details with you and arrange an on-site consultation if needed.
What do you need to know about access?
I’ll personally discuss equipment access, site conditions, and potential obstacles with you when reviewing your project. There’s no access questionnaire or need to photograph routes or gates. I confirm a suitable approach before work proceeds.
How soon can the work be done?
I aim to keep communication and estimating straightforward so your project can move ahead efficiently. Your service date depends on availability, utility locating, weather, access, and site conditions. I confirm scheduling for your project rather than promise a fixed turnaround.
Do you work with tree companies and landscapers?
Yes. Referral and subcontract relationships are an important part of Grind Away NOVA. Tree services, landscapers, builders, property managers, and real estate professionals can choose “Trade partner” in the quote form to start the conversation.
